These gaskets are available in several metallization types. The most common one is the Copper-Nickel one. More than 660 standard sections are available, with rectangular, round, D-shape, L-shape, C-shape, P-shape, flate, I/O sections... they are available in UL94-V0, RoHS and Alogene free versions. An adhesive tape, conductive or not, can be applied. Our EMIShield Conductive Fabric over Foam Gaskets are packaged in several ways: bulk, boards or rolls for pick-and-place applications.
We also provide you with custom shapes according to your drawings.

Formed in place Gaskets

Dispensing FIP Gaskets is a well used process at prototyping and pre-series steps, especially for base stations, DMB, peripherals, PDA, military equipments, medical devices, etc...NB: when the design is completed and the mass-production is launched the metallic gasket is often favourite (see our here below article "Metallic Gaskets").
More than EMC shielding when the dispensed material is a loaded silicone, the dispensing FIP Gasket guarantees waterproofness until submersion.
Consign your castings and metallized materials to us, and COMPELMA will take in charge the dispensing of your FIP (conductive or not) gaskets, according to your production schedules.

Metallic Gaskets

Metallic Gaskets are used for EMC shielding especially used for base stations, DMB, peripherals, PDA, military equipments , medical devices, etc... when the design step is completed and the mass production is launched. NB: when the design step is not completed yet, and during the prototype and pre-series steps, the dispensing formed in place gaskets are often prefered for cost reasons (see our here above article "Formed in place Gaskets")
Our metallic gaskets are made of 0.15mm thick stainless steel, gold coated for some applications. They are made with an extreme accuracy obtained by a chemial cutting process.
The main advantage of the Metallic Gasket Solution versus the Dispensing Formed-in-place of a loaded silicone Solution is the costs reduction linked to the castings logistics absence.

Conductive Silicone Gaskets

Our Conductive Silicone Gaskets range is available in molded, extruded and printed versions. Several kind of loading are available, e.g. Silver Nickel, Silver Copper, Silver Aluminum, Inert Aluminum, Silver, Nickel Graphite, Nickel...
These gaskets provide submersion waterproofness in addition to EMC shielding.

Oriented Wire Gaskets

Oriented Wire Gaskets

Our Oriented Wire Gaskets are available is soft silicone, hard silicone and fluorosilicone. Oriented metallic wires (Monel wires or Aluminum wires) are chemically glued to ensure the electrical conductivity all over the gasket thickness. These gaskets can have several kind of sections: square, rectangular, plates. They are shaped/cut according to your drawings. An adhesive tape can be applied on one face, according to your needs.
In addition to the EMC shielding, these gaskets guarantee a submersion waterproofness until IP67.

SMD Shielding Covers and Belts

Our range is about 40 standard Covers, mainly made of stainless steel or tinned steel. They are manufactured by stamping or by etching when dimensional constraints are highly strict.
COMPELMA offers either a covers and belts solution when a repeated opening/closing is required, or a pre-pierced covers solution for more cost saving applications.
We manufacture also custom covers according to your drawings.

Conductive Coatings on Plastic Parts

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is a variety of vacuum deposition to deposit thin metallized films (µm range) by the condensation of a vaporized form of the material onto various surfaces (e.g. plastics, metal...). The metalic coating can be of any kind, but most of our requests concerns Copper for its shielding properties and Stainless steel for its corrosion resistance.
That PVD technology ensure a homogeneous electrical resistance fitting with your application (from 0.5Ω to more usually 1 to 1.5Ω). The generated shielding is 60dB at 100MHz-1GHz.

Vent Pannels

Our Vent Pannels are available in Aluminum or Steel versions.
The Aluminum version allows very thin thicknesses, starting from 6.5mm, when the Steel version meets high requirements like in military applications.
Coatings are available as options (e.g.: Surtec 650, tinning, nickeling...).
Our Vent Pannels are also available with double cells for outdoor applications, or integrating a dust filter into its structure.
Our Vent Pannels are screwed, welded or glued, according to your needs.

Shielding Windows

Our Shielding Windows are available as moulded monobloc windows (plastic versions) and as laminated windows (glass versions)
The moulded monobloc version is more specifically set aside for light industrial applications for cost effectiveness.
The laminated version is made of two windows with a conductive fabric in-between running over the windows, insuring an optimal level of attenuation.
Each of these windows can incorporate different kind of conductive fabrics, from 50 OPI to 145 OPI with a 25 to 50µm diameter wire.
We also use the ITO technology (Indium oxyde) over 0.16mm thick soft films, which is mainly used for low cost applications such as consumer type.
Antireflection and antiscratch options are also available.
In addition, we assemble the EMC and IP gaskets on your shielding windows, according to your requirements.

Shock Inductors

Shock inductors are used to protect electronic and IT products: they reduce as much as possible hyper frequency signals by allowing the direct current to pass.
They are endowed with strong impedance for the common mode noises and with low impedance for the differential mode signals.

Common Mode Inductors

Common mode inductors, also called asymmetric mode inductors, are used in all applications, in order to reduce the conducted interference phenomena.
