Our Magnetic linear guiding system it the alternative solution of the existing opitcal rules. It is a more cost saving solution answering the standards quality requirements.
It is made of a ferrited magnetic tape and an associated positonning sensor.
- positionning accuracy: +/-10µm.
- min width of the magnetic tape: 10mm. That tape can be encoded to enable an absolute positionning.
- reading distance between the sensor and the tape: up to 3mm.
- sensor moving: 20m/s maximum.
- the sensor can be customized in size and on his interface (BISS/SSi, Profibus, RS232, DB9...)
Unlike optical positionning systems, our magnetic positionning system can be used in any environmental area (dust, humidity...), without any consequence on the reading quality.
Our Magnetic guiding system is also available for rotation positionning.
