EMI shielding gaskets

Conductive gaskets with loaded silicone, foil over foam or metallic

Gaskets allow electrical sealing by grounding, as well as sealing against fluids and particles (IP levels). Several EMC sealing technologies exist. They must be chosen according to the performance levels to be achieved, the environments and the integration limits.

We support you in the choice of technology and integration into your project.

Foil over Foam gaskets

Foam gaskets surrounded by conductive fabric are one of the most common and easy-to-use solutions for electromagnetic (EM) and radio frequency (RF) sealing.

These CEM joints are easily integrated thanks to an adhesive at their base.

Several profiles exist. These joints are cut to length on request.

Flat gaskets can also be die-cut to make flat gaskets (for connectors for example).

Metallic gaskets

Metallic gaskets are very efficient in ensuring grounding between two foundries or with PCBs.

The spring teeth along the metallic gaskets ensure permanent electrical contact and compensation of assembly tolerances.

Since the compression forces are low, the number of tightening screws can be reduced while maintaining continuous electrical contact along the entire length of the metallic gaskets.

This technology is particularly integrated on military, space, and telecom applications.

Silicone gaskets and bi-material gaskets

Silicone-based shielding gaskets provide fluid tightness in addition to grounding.

These conductive gaskets are very resilient and provide IP levels up to IP69. Several profiles and materials are available.
